Setting
Grizzly Creek Campground sits at 5,500 feet in the Plumas National Forest under a canopy of shaded fir and pine trees near Bucks Lake. The facility offers 11 non-electric campsites suitable for tents and RVs, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include vault toilets and a bear-proof garbage dumpster. Drinking water is not provided. Bucks Lake and trailheads for the Pacific Crest Trail and Bucks Lake Wilderness are located a short drive away.
Getting there: From Quincy: Take Oroville-Quincy Hwy (Bucks Lake Road) west. Turn right at the intersection of Bucks Lake Road and Big Creek Road. The campground will be on your right approximately one mile past Bucklin Road. If you have a large RV you will need to take Oroville-Quincy Hwy, turn left onto Big Creek Road. Follow road to the campground. From Oroville: Take Oroville-Quincy Hwy 162 East. The campground will be on your right before reaching Bucklin Road..
