Setting
William Kent Campground straddles the highway on Lake Tahoe's west shore, surrounded by tall pine, cedar, and fir trees. The campground features paved tent and RV sites alongside furnished yurts set on wooden platforms. Each site includes a bear-proof food storage locker, campfire ring, pedestal grill, and picnic table. Shared facilities feature flush toilets and drinking water. A day-use lake access area sits across the highway for swimming and boating, and paved regional bike trails originate right near the facility. Tahoe City is less than five miles north.
