Mineral Bar sits on the east side of the North Fork American River within Auburn State Recreation Area, accessed via Iowa Hill Road with scenic views of the historic Iowa Hill Bridge. The 15-site campground offers picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets (no potable water). Popular for whitewater rafting, kayaking, swimming, and fishing along the river corridor. Open year-round; reservations available May-October.
