Campground details
Setting
Granite Flat Campground rests along the Truckee River in a forest of Jeffrey and lodgepole pine, situated between Highway 89 and the water just one mile from Truckee. The site features single, double, and seven walk-in tent campsites equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, bearproof food lockers, vault toilets, and drinking water. Visitors use the camp for fly-fishing, river tubing, and swimming, or to access area routes like the Pacific Crest, Five Lakes, and Western States trails. Lake Tahoe and Olympic Valley sit 15 minutes to the south.
