Campground details
Setting
Goose Meadow Campground sits on the banks of the Truckee River between Tahoe City and Truckee, set within a forest of lodgepole pine and fir trees. Single-family campsites each feature a picnic table and campfire ring with a grill, supported by drinking water and vault toilets. The site offers direct river access for fly-fishing, swimming, and tubing. Hikers and cyclists are positioned near several regional trail systems, including the Western States Trail, Five Lakes Trail, and Pacific Crest Trail, with Lake Tahoe located 30 minutes to the south.
