Doheny State Beach campground sits at the southern end of a renowned Orange County beach in Dana Point, offering direct Pacific access with stunning ocean views. Mix of RV and tent sites near sandy beach, tide pools, and marine habitat. Facilities include restrooms, showers, RV dump station, and a paved multi-use beachside trail. The northern section features a world-class surf break; marine murals decorate the promenade. Wildlife viewing includes herons, egrets, plovers. Adjacent Dana Point Harbor offers additional recreation. Established in 1931 as California's first state beach.
