Hike-in campground a quarter mile from parking, nestled in a meadow beside the Big Sur River in a 5,000-acre state park. Twenty-two tent sites plus two hike-and-bike sites; each offers fire pit, picnic table, and food storage. Potable water and flush toilets available; no showers. The park encompasses diverse terrain—bluffs, beaches, meadows, and hilltops—with 15 miles of trails. Historic structures include the Cooper Cabin, the oldest Big Sur building, and Molera Ranch House Museum.
