Rustic, minimally developed primitive campground adjacent to Virginia Creek, surrounded by Jeffrey pines at 9,200 feet elevation. Vault toilets, no potable water, no picnic tables. Not recommended for trailers over 25 feet. No camping fees. Open late May–mid-October. Requires free California Camp Fire Permit. Dogs must be leashed. Located south of Bridgeport via US-395 and Virginia Lakes Road. Pack out all waste.
