23-site tent/RV campground on West Walker River at 6,300 ft, near Sonora Pass between Bridgeport and Walker, CA (Humboldt-Toiyabe NF). Picnic tables, campfire rings, vault toilets, no potable water. Fishing on West Walker River; mountain and road biking; day hiking to Leavitt Meadows. $24/night, $6 extra vehicle. Leashed dogs. CalFire permit required for fires. Late April-early October.

Getting there: 1. From Highway 395 south in Bridgeport, drive approximately 17 miles to Highway 108, Sonora Junction. 2. Turn left on Highway 108 and go approximately one mile. The campground is on left hand side of road.
