Campground details
Setting
Oh Ridge Campground sits at 7,600 feet in the eastern Sierra Nevada, set above the shoreline of June Lake. The wide-open facility has little shade save for scattered pines and aspens, giving almost every site unobstructed views of 11,000- to 12,000-foot mountain peaks. Campsites are spread across several loops named after local wildlife, each equipped with picnic tables, grills, and bear-proof food storage lockers. On-site amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, and direct lake access for swimming, while two boat marinas and town services are minutes away.
Getting there: Oh Ridge Campground is 350 miles north of Los Angeles and 150 miles south of Reno, Nevada. Take U.S. Highway 395 to its southern junction with Highway 158. Take 158 for 1 mile. Turn right on North Shore Drive. Go approximately 1 mile and turn left on Pine Cliff Road. Go 0.5 mile to campground entrance.

- Reversed Peak stands 1,744 ft above the map pin, 1.5 miles west.
- The June Lake shoreline is 0.2 mi off.
- Estimated night sky: Bortle 3, a dark rural sky.
