Rustic, minimally developed primitive campground adjacent to Virginia Creek, surrounded by Jeffrey pines at 9,100 feet elevation. Fire rings and bear boxes (sites accommodate large trailers/motorhomes). Vault toilets, no potable water, no picnic tables. No camping fees. Open late May–mid-October. Requires free California Camp Fire Permit. Dogs must be leashed. Accessed south of Bridgeport via US-395, Virginia Lakes Road, and NFSR 139.
