Lake Mary Campground sits at 8,900 feet among lodgepole pines on the northwest end of Lake Mary, the largest water body in the Mammoth Lakes region. The facility features four loops of closely spaced campsites straddling the main road, with some sites offering views of the water. On-site access puts campers within walking distance of trout fishing on the lake. While no trailheads start directly within the campsite loops, nearby routes lead into the adjacent John Muir Wilderness for day hiking and backpacking.
