Setting
Chris Flat Campground sits at an elevation of 6,600 feet in Walker Canyon along a National Scenic Byway. Suitable for both tent and RV camping, the site offers campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings. Facilities include drinking water, vault toilets, garbage service, and firewood sales via the camp host. The adjacent Walker River is regularly stocked with trout, making stream fishing the main draw to the location.
Getting there: 1. From Highway 395 south in Bridgeport, drive approximately 20 miles. 2. Campground is on right hand side of highway.
