Fifteen-site campground on Mendocino National Forest adjacent to Eel River Work Center with river access. Sites include two pull-throughs for larger trailers; vault toilets available. Oak-dominated setting with madrone, buckeye, and pine. Trail from site 7 leads to confluence of Black Butte River and Middle Fork Eel River. Swimming popular in summer. Seasonal May 1–mid-November. $8 per night.
