Yosemite Creek Campground sits in a pine forest alongside a meandering mountain creek, accessed via a 5-mile, single-lane dirt road that prohibits RVs and trailers. This primitive camping area provides vault toilets but no piped drinking water; water drawn from the seasonal creek must be treated or boiled. Sites are surrounded by granite boulders, offering direct access to the water for wading and relaxing. High-country trailheads at Tuolumne Meadows and swimming at Tenaya Lake sit further up the Tioga Road corridor.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

Mount Hoffmann stands 3,618 ft above the site, 5.0 miles east. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.9 miles off, a 76-site campground. 1 hike-in site. The nearest town, Yosemite Valley, is 6.0 mi off.

September normals 4669°F, 0.6″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
