Summerdale Campground sits in a wildflower meadow surrounded by firs, cottonwoods, and cedars along Big Creek, just 1.5 miles from Yosemite National Park. The facility offers campsites with paved parking spurs, picnic tables, grills, campfire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water. Visitors come to fish for rainbow trout in Big Creek, ride off-road vehicles in the nearby Miami Motorcycle Trails Area, hike the Lewis Creek National Recreation Trail, or visit the giant sequoias at Nelder Grove.
