A 16.6-mile stretch of gravel National Forest road in Mariposa County, CA. The road is open seasonally, April 15 to December 15.

Stanislaus National Forest, Groveland Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 21-day limit in any 365 days. Camp at least 100 ft from water. Open seasonally, April 16 to December 14.

All 16.6 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 4.2 miles of dirt. Climbs 1,800 ft over 16.6 miles -- sustained grades near 12%, with pitches to 31%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~130 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 39 switchbacks.

White Oak Creek runs 0.1 mi off. Brush Ridge stands 771 ft above the site, 1.3 miles southeast. The nearest town, Pine Mountain Lake, is 7.9 mi off.
