Camp 4 in CA -- Campground & RV Camping

Camp 4 is a shared, walk-in tent campground located at 4,000 feet in Yosemite Valley among black oak, ponderosa pine, and granite cliffs near the Merced River. The site has 61 shared tent sites where up to six people share a campsite footprint, picnic tables, fire rings, and food storage lockers. Shared flush restrooms and drinking water spigots are centrally located. No vehicles or pets are allowed inside the campground loop; parking is located 100 to 300 yards away.

Getting there: Upon entering Yosemite Valley, turn left onto Sentinel Drive, then left onto Northside Drive. Camp 4 will be on your right after approximately 1.25 miles.

• Eagle Peak stands 3,767 ft above the map pin, 0.7 miles northwest.
• Merced River runs 0.2 mi off.
• Mostly tent-only sites.
