Point Reyes National Seashore features four backcountry campgrounds—Coast, Glen, Sky, and Wildcat—along with 20 boat-in campsites on Tomales Bay. The landscape spans coastal scrub, Douglas fir forests, and ocean beaches. Hike-in and bike-in sites include picnic tables, food storage lockers, vault toilets, and drinking water; Coast and Wildcat offer direct beach access. The primitive boat-in sites on Tomales Bay coves lack facilities, requiring campers to pack in water and portable toilets. No car or RV camping is permitted anywhere in the park.
