Haypress Campground is a primitive, hike-in site set in a grassy meadow bounded by eucalyptus trees in Tennessee Valley. Located one mile via a flat dirt path from the main parking lot, the facility offers five individual sites and one group site. Each individual site has a tent pad and food locker, while the group site adds picnic tables. Two vault toilets are on site. Campers must pack in all drinking water and pack out trash. Trails lead directly to Tennessee Beach, Muir Beach, and historic military sites like Battery Townsley.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
