These three hike-in tent sites occupy Angel Island's windier, more exposed ridge areas offering expansive views westward toward San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Ridge Site 4 specifically sits on the island's southwest side with open space and unobstructed Bridge views. The sites have less shelter than the island's east-side locations but offer superior vistas. Each includes a picnic table, tent platform, and bear-proof food locker. Shared island amenities include pit toilets and water access. Requires ferry transport and 2–2.5 miles of backpacking, portions uphill.
