Spring Cove Campground sits at 3,400 feet elevation across the road from Bass Lake in a shaded grove of oak, pine, and cedar. Suited for tents and small RVs due to short paved and dirt parking spurs with tight turns, the facility provides flush toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, and campfire rings. The 2.6-mile Spring Cove Trail connects directly to the camp, with additional trails like Willow Creek and Goat Mountain nearby. Bass Lake offers a beach, boat ramp, motorized boating, swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Yosemite National Park is located under an hour away.

Road difficulty 2 of 5 -- a moderate drive in. Recorded as maintained for passenger cars, paved, pitching to 12%.

Goat Mountain stands 1,584 ft above the site, 1.4 miles west. Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 62-site campground. The Bass Lake shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Most of them shaded. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, North Fork, is 5.1 mi off.

September normals 5787°F, 0.2″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
