Primitive tent-only campground on Millerton Lake's scenic shoreline in the Sierra Nevada foothills east of Fresno. Natural sites equipped with chemical toilets for minimal-impact backcountry camping. Direct shoreline access to the forty-seven-mile lake for boating, fishing, and swimming. Hiking trails explore surrounding oak-dotted foothills and ridges. Peaceful meadow and foothill setting. Seasonal April through September operation preserves the wilderness character of this intimate lakeside experience.
