Buck Ridge Recreation Area sits on the shore of Hensley Lake in the Sierra Nevada foothills, surrounded by oak woodlands. The site features a group day-use pavilion equipped with multiple picnic tables, a large barbecue pit, a grill, drinking water, flush restrooms, and two horseshoe pits. On-site amenities include boat ramps, a swim beach, a disc golf course, a playground, and multi-use trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The 1,500-acre reservoir was created by Hidden Dam on the Fresno River, located roughly an hour south of Yosemite National Park.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
