Dodge Reservoir Campground sits at 5,600 feet elevation in a high-desert landscape of sagebrush hills and junipers, next to a 480-acre irrigation impoundment built in 1937. The reservoir is stocked with rainbow, brown, and Lahontan cutthroat trout. The campground provides basic campsites with picnic tables and a single wheelchair-accessible vault toilet. There is no potable water and no trash pickup on site.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
