McGill Campground sits at an elevation of 7,300 feet in the Pinos Mountains, shaded by a dense stand of Jeffrey and ponderosa pines. The facility features 73 spaced individual campsites alongside two group sites equipped with central barbecue areas. Each standard site includes a picnic table and campfire ring. The campground provides direct access to the 3.7-mile McGill Campground Trail for hiking and biking, as well as the Exploration Trail and Mount Pinos Trail. The Jacinto Reyes National Scenic Byway runs nearby.
