Setting
Forks Campground sits tucked into aspen and pine groves near the confluence of the South and Middle Forks of Bishop Creek. The property offers 27 single-family campsites, with several sites running directly along the creek banks. Every site is furnished with a picnic table, campfire ring with grill, and a 48-inch bear-proof food storage locker. Facilities on-site include drinking water, two vault toilets, and one accessible flush toilet. Visitors use the campground as a base for stream fishing, hiking, and exploring the Bishop Creek basin.
Getting there: From Bishop, go west on State Route 168 (Line Street) approximately 15 miles. Turn left at the junction of the South Lake Road, the campground will be the first right turn about 1/4 mile.
