Setting
Big Pine Creek Campground sits at 7,700 feet elevation along the banks of Big Pine Creek in Big Pine Canyon. The adjacent North Fork Trail climbs past waterfalls up to the lakes and the Palisade Glacier, which sits below the 14,000-foot peaks of the Palisade Crest.
