Wailaki Campground is set among old-growth firs along Shelter Cove Road, with Bear Creek running through the grounds. It offers 13 wheelchair-accessible sites and a first-come, first-served group area, equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, bear-proof trash cans, and vault toilets. There are no utility hookups, potable water taps, or OHV access. The site serves as the trailhead for the Bear Creek Nature Trail to Bear Ridge and connects to the Southern Lost Coast Trail and Sinkyone Wilderness via the Chemise Mountain Trail.
