Sue-meg State Park is a 640-acre coastal park in Humboldt County on California's far Redwood Coast near Trinidad, featuring a forested promontory above the Pacific Ocean. The hike-and-bike campground accommodates visitors arriving by foot or bicycle alongside tent sites, group camps, and a visitor center. Trails wind through redwood and Sitka spruce forests past Sumêg Village, a reconstructed Yurok settlement, and lead to Agate Beach with its sandy stretches, tide pools, and agate-hunting opportunities. Marine wildlife including seals, sea lions, and migrating whales inhabit the area; the park also offers scuba diving, snorkeling, and windsurfing.
