Cuneo Creek Horse Camp occupies an old homestead on Mattole Road eight miles west of the Avenue of the Giants within Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The facility includes five family sites (accommodating up to 8 people and 2 horses each) and two group camps. Family amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, bear lockers, treated water, flush toilets, and coin-operated showers. Equestrian facilities feature 12'x12' metal pipe corrals, water troughs, tie rails, and a sand rolling pit for horses. The camp operates seasonally May through September.
