Trimmer Campground is a single-loop facility on the shore of Pine Flat Lake in the foothills of the central Sierra Nevada. The 10 individual sites overlook the water, each equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring, and grill. Amenities include a well-lit restroom with flush toilets, hot showers, and an adjacent boat ramp and courtesy dock. Anglers fish for bass, wild trout, and crappie in the 20-mile-long reservoir, while whitewater rafting on the Kings River and scenic drives through Kings Canyon National Park sit just upstream.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Overhead clearance here is posted at 15 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.

Hacker Mountain stands 1,314 ft above the site, 0.7 miles north. The Pine Flat Lake shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 10-site campground. The nearest town, Squaw Valley, is 15 mi off.

September normals 6594°F, 0.1″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
