Setting
Rancheria Campground sits beneath fir and pine trees on the shore of Huntington Lake near the Kaiser Wilderness. The site features walk-to waterfront tent sites allowing informal boat mooring, alongside standard sites fitting RVs up to 40 feet. Amenities include dirt spurs, tables, fire rings, drinking water, flush and vault toilets, an amphitheater, and an adjacent historical museum. Huntington Lake offers boating, sailing, and fishing, while trails like Rancheria Falls, Indian Pools, and the 12-mile Kaiser Loop access the surrounding wilderness.
Getting there: From Clovis, take Highway 168 north 70 miles to Huntington Lake Campground office at Eastwood. Check in at office prior to setting up camp.
