Setting
Princess Campground sits at 5,900 feet elevation beside a meadow in the Indian Basin Grove of Sequoia National Forest, three miles northwest of Hume Lake. The campground features 88 shaded sites with dirt and gravel parking pads, including 19 tent-only sites set among giant sequoia stumps and wildflower fields. On-site facilities include an amphitheater. Located right at the camp entrance, the Indian Basin Grove Interpretive Trail offers an accessible paved loop, while nearby Hume Lake provides non-motorized boating, fishing, and a 2.6-mile loop trail.
Getting there: From Fresno, California, go east on Highway 180 to Grants Grove, continuing approximately 12 miles to Princess Campground on the right.
