Moraine Campground sits in Cedar Grove inside Kings Canyon National Park, shaded by ponderosa pine and incense cedar along the South Fork of the Kings River. Surrounded by steep granite canyon walls, the campground features paved loop roads leading to sites equipped with fire rings, picnic tables, and bear-proof food storage boxes. Five comfort stations provide flush toilets, drinking water, and dishwashing sinks. Trailheads near the campground connect to Mist Falls, Zumwalt Meadow, and the backcountry, while Cedar Grove Village sits less than a mile away with showers and a store.

Getting there: From Fresno, CA, follow California State Highway 180 East to Cedar Grove. Moraine Campground is located on the left (north) side of the road .75 miles east of Cedar Grove. Vehicles over 22 feet are not advised between Potwisha Campground and the Giant Forest Museum when entering through Sequoia National Park. Vehicles over 22 feet should use the Kings Canyon National Park Entrance.
