Lower Billy Creek Campground sits among fir and pine trees along Huntington Lake on the central Sierra Nevada's western slope. Adjacent to the historic Billy Creek Guard Station Museum, every campsite offers lake views and includes a picnic table, food storage locker, and campfire ring. Facilities include paved parking spurs, vault toilets, and drinking water. Nearby water activities range from swimming and sailing to fishing and kayaking. Hikers have direct access to area routes like Rancheria Falls, Indian Pools, and the 12-mile Kaiser Loop Trail leading into the Kaiser Wilderness.
