Setting
Kinnikinnick Campground sits under a dense fir and pine canopy across the road from Huntington Lake near the Kaiser Wilderness. Sites include paved parking spurs, picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills, supported by drinking water, flush toilets, and a pay phone. Huntington Lake offers boating, sailing, swimming, canoeing, and fishing. Nearby trails include Rancheria Falls, Indian Pools, and the 12-mile Kaiser Loop Trail. The 84-mile Sierra Vista Scenic Byway is accessible nearby for day trips. Note: The campground is currently closed due to hazard trees.
Getting there: Take Highway 168 east from Clovis to Shaver Lake. Continue through Shaver Lake to Huntington Lake. Continue around Huntington Lake for 1.3 miles to Kinnikinnick Campground (located adjacent to Catavee Campground).
