Sitting at 6,500 feet elevation in Kings Canyon National Park, Crystal Springs Campground rests within a Sierra Nevada mixed conifer forest of sugar pine, incense cedar, fir, and giant sequoias. The campground features 35 standard sites and 14 mid-size group sites, each equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and bear-proof food storage box, alongside shared flush toilets and drinking water. Nearby trails lead directly to Ella Falls, Panoramic Point, and the General Grant Tree. Grant Grove Village sits close by with a market, visitor center, post office, restaurant, and regular amphitheater campfire programs.

Getting there: From Fresno, CA, take Highway 180 East for 1 1/2 hours. Vehicles over 22 feet are not advised between Potwisha Campground and the Giant Forest Museum when entering through Sequoia National Park. Vehicles over 22 feet should use the Kings Canyon National Park Entrance.
