Situated in Kings Canyon at 3,000 feet elevation, 19 miles northeast of Grant Grove off Highway 180, this small family campground features 5 campsites and a vault toilet. The site accommodates small to midsize trailers.
All 0.2 miles in are maintained for passenger-car comfort. Paved the whole way in (0.2 miles). Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
Junction Ridge stands 6,255 ft above the site, 2.5 miles northeast. South Fork Kings River runs 0.2 mi off. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off. The nearest town, Squaw Valley, is 22 mi off.
