Setting
College Campground offers tent-only sites set in open meadows and pine-fir woods along the shore of Huntington Lake, near the Kaiser Wilderness. Each site features a grass and dirt parking spur, picnic table, fire ring, and grill, with select sites allowing nearby boat mooring. On-site facilities include vault and flush toilets, drinking water, and a pay phone. Huntington Lake provides boating, sailing, swimming, and fishing. Nearby hiking includes Rancheria Falls, Indian Pools, and the 12-mile Kaiser Loop Trail reaching into the high terrain of Kaiser Ridge.
Getting there: Take Hwy 168 east from Clovis to Shaver Lake. Continue through Shaver Lake to Huntington Lake. Continue around Huntington Lake for .5 miles to College Campground.
