Setting
Aspen Hollow Group Campground sits at 5,300 feet in the Giant Sequoia National Monument, one mile from the 87-acre Hume Lake. The single group site accommodates up to 100 people and provides back-in parking for 35 vehicles. Facilities include vault toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, and food storage lockers. The surrounding Sierra Nevada terrain features steep canyons and mountain streams. Hume Lake offers trout fishing, swimming, and boating, while nearby monument trails support hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
Getting there: From Fresno, California, take Highway 180 east to Grants Grove. Drive approximately 12 miles, then take a right onto Hume Road and continue 4 more miles, passing Christian Camps. Take a right at the Aspen Hollow sign. Go 3/4 mile reaching the entrance of the campground.
