Located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe at 6,225 feet elevation, this pet-free resort on Washoe tribal lands encompasses a sandy beach, a day-use grill, a general store, and rental kayaks and paddleboards. Lodging options span the historic 7-bedroom Kehlet Mansion, the 3-bedroom Washoe House, cabins, lodges, 23 full-hookup RV sites (handling rigs up to 60 feet), and 54 non-electric tent and pop-up sites split north and south of Meeks Creek. Amenities include token showers and flush toilets. The Meeks Bay Trail leads into the Desolation Wilderness, with Emerald Bay State Park nearby.
