Perched on a hill at 3,200 feet elevation overlooking the South Fork of the American River, this group campground is surrounded by mixed conifers and riparian vegetation. The facility includes a parking lot with seven stalls, five tent pads, eight picnic tables, six serving tables, and a large group fire ring. River access leads directly to two popular local swimming holes and trout fishing. There is no potable water on site, and the facilities are not accessible. Pollock Pines is 10 minutes away, with Bridal Veil Falls 5 minutes from the location.
