Colusa-Sacramento River State Recreation Area encompasses 67 acres along the west bank of California's largest river, 65 miles north of Sacramento near Colusa. Fourteen developed campsites nestle beneath riverbank cottonwoods and willows, accommodating tents and RVs up to 27 feet, with two accessible sites. Facilities include potable water, flush toilets, hot showers, picnic tables, barbecues, and a dump station. The area offers excellent fishing for king salmon, steelhead, rainbow trout, and striped bass, plus birdwatching along the Pacific Flyway.
