Established campground in heart of Calaveras Big Trees State Park's North Grove, surrounded by mature conifer forest within walking distance of giant sequoia groves. Seventy-four campsites encircle North Grove Meadow, each with picnic table, fire ring, and bear-proof locker. Token-operated showers, flush restrooms, and dump station available. Immediate access to North Grove trail system where visitors walk among ancient sequoias, some over 1,000 years old.
