Alto Pit OHV Campground is a converted gravel pit sitting at 6,200 feet elevation at the base of the Granite Mountain Wilderness, 15 minutes from Granite Basin. Built specifically for motorized off-road travel, it gives direct access to a 20-mile OHV trail network. The site offers 10 single and one double gravel-surface campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, alongside three vault toilets, trash dumpsters, and a large group ramada. There are no electric hookups, water hookups, or dump stations on site.

Getting there: From the courthouse located in downtown City of Prescott, go northwest on Iron Spring Road. Continue 5 miles past the junction of Gale Gardner Way and Iron Springs Road. Alto Pit is on the right side of the road.
