Climbs 5,400 ft over 16.7 miles -- sustained grades near 12%, with pitches to 24%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~210 ft on the downhill side. Winds through 26 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. A cattle guard at the start of the road. Gates 1, 4.1 and 12.1 miles in.
