A 2.9-mile stretch of dirt National Forest road in Santa Cruz County, AZ. The road serves Hermosa Hill.

Coronado National Forest, Sierra Vista Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 14-day limit in any 60 days. Camp at least 200 ft from water, 5,280 ft from a developed campground.

All 2.9 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Dirt the whole way in (2.9 miles). Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. Water crossings 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 2.4 and 2.5 miles in.

American Peak stands 1,300 ft above the site, 1.6 miles southwest. A body of water lies 1.2 mi off. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. Travellers have camped along here. The nearest town, Nogales, is 15 mi off.
