Coronado National Forest, Sierra Vista Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 14-day limit in any 60 days. Camp at least 200 ft from water, 5,280 ft from a developed campground.

2.4 of the 9.2 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 2.4 miles of dirt. Level ground alongside most of its length. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. Cattle guards 1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.5, 5.1, 7.2 and 9.1 miles in. A water crossing 1.5 miles in.

A body of water lies 0.2 mi off. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off. Lookout Knoll stands 1,060 ft above the site, 1.6 miles east. Travellers have camped along here. The nearest town, Sierra Vista, is 16 mi off.
