Cactus Ramada 1 is a group picnic site for up to 45 people, located at 2,800 feet elevation along Sabino Creek in the Coronado National Forest. Located near Tucson at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains, the facility includes a picnic shelter, four accessible picnic tables, a serving table, two grills, a campfire circle, bear-proof trash cans, and a vault restroom. Access is via a third-mile walk from the parking area or through the Sabino Canyon shuttle. Three major trailheads start nearby, providing access to desert hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
